Happy 16th birthday dA

So I had a few ideas in mind when I coloured this. The first was to include colours of the sunset (with the two dominant colours being the dark purple and blue) while having a few colours like the rose and turquoise spread around so as to encompass the idea of how many colours of a sunset permeate throughout the sky and show up in different random areas, the red and orange being the other two colours of a sunset that make the numbers while the yellow resembles the heart of the sunset and the source of all these different beautiful colours from which they originate. As for the coloured pencils and spray can on the outside, thought I should include them as part of the theme that comes with the celebration of dA's 16th birthday, the theme being art.

So despite the many downs that have occurred with this site, there have been many ups as well. The most important for me being that I got to meet a whole lot of amazing people on here, and witnessing many things on this site such as how many within the community support not only friends, but others in distress. How supportive many are on this site of one another is something I like about dA, how people connect and so forth. Being on this site has allowed me to broaden my horizons and come to understand aspects of the art world a little more than prior, and all the different sub-cultures that intermingle together and how they convey their ideals and art in different manners intrigues me.
