Character profile part 1: Fission

I present to you my new character, a villain born from tragedy: Fission~ OwO (And yes his hair is dyed annnd I really need to think of a name he has before he adopts that villain name .w.; )

Second time I've used a base. Seeing it's a base I thought i'd work a little harder, experiment more with colouring and see what I can come up with By the way the species of wolf is the Mackenzie Valley wolf AKA Northwestern wolf

Now the backstory is very...Detailed and long, hard to nail in a short summary so i'll try to give one despite so

Anyway he is essentially a genetically engineered experiment gone wrong. A group of scientists were hired and consented to experiment on him during his developmental stages as a fertilised egg, infusing his genes and so his genetic code with a nuclear-powered matrix network while keeping him supplied and incubated in a giant tube. The nuclear matrix was designed for him to fuse with in order to give him special radioactive abilities that could do special things like cure cancer by targeting specific cancer cells and radiating them as well as helping in other ways using the abilities given (however they were to be used as offensive, destructive capabilities instead later on). His parents were scientists who partook in the project 'Fusion' and willingly gave a fertilised egg to use in the experiment. Initially they didn't mind seeing they only wanted and preferred one child (they already have a daughter) but over time they grew attached to the sample as it itself grew over time into a small wolf boy, growing more to the point where the experiment was considered a 'success' based on the subject surviving the growth process and able to grow naturally despite the artificial conditions of his environment which aided him in his growth. Afterwards they decided to adopt the boy into their own family due to their emotional attachment and not wanting to abandon the boy after the project having worked with him for some time. Not aware of the repercussions their actions and choices would have later in the future.

Everything seemed to be going fine, the boy had settled in well, the family loved him and he developed a strong bond and mutual trust with his sister. But it would be this love and care for him that became their biggest weakness and downfall. Not long during mid-childhood, he started to exhibit random and erratic behavioural patterns whether it was angry outbursts, sudden grumpiness and tantrums and rude/anti-social behaviour or violent and aggressive physical retaliation to those who bullied him at school for his differences (and even in response to small signs of antagonism or something/someone that annoys him), moments of mania and over-excitement as well as depression and sadness or sudden complacency that showed up frequently and randomly at times. Sometimes he'd even exhibit physical symptoms such as overheating and giving off heat at times which warmed the air and space around him or experience spikes of nasty fevers and colds. The reason for all these spontaneous physical and mental changes of state was because the nuclear matrix that he was infused with began destabilising in his body as it wasn't compatible with him and could not properly fuse with his being and genetic code. This resulted in a rate of decay for him as he grew older and a reaction occurred  inside his body between the matrix and his own atoms/cells, which in turn decayed his own physical and mental state over time. Now the family was aware of this even the sister, and so they decided to lie to his face and pretend everything was 'normal' and that he was "just like the others" to comfort him, protect him from the truth and so he wouldn't think he was a freak or anything like that. Even his sister who he trusted the most and was closest to lied about how he was born, that he is in fact not like the others and why all the things were happening to him. After some time he eventually found out the hard way. 

All the lying over the years combined with his deteriorating and erratic mental state caused him to abandon home and his family, thinking he couldn't trust them anymore but also was shocked to learn the truth, that they had been lying his whole life of being with them and that they initially didn't want him as their child but as something to experiment on instead. He becomes an escapee who tries to avoid the authorities in order to avoid returning to his family, even going so far as to dye his own hair to change his appearance and change clothes via stealing from small clothes stores, moving from place to place. However he eventually gets found and when the police try to take them with him he gives off an exothermic reaction which explodes the area, vaporising the police and imprinting their shadows where they stood and demolishing their car. This makes the boy even more scared and determined not to return. The police find him many times and the same thing happens as they get caught up in the explosions he gives off which increase as a risk if he is in a state of agitation or extreme angst and worry/stress. It isn't long before the police deem it a murder investigation and so call their mystery killer 'Fission' or the "Fission killer" which is also ironical given the nature of his creation. This is determined from the crime scenes and the shadows they come across as well as the type of destruction.

His condition worsens as he ages, and his mental state deteriorates to the point where he goes on rampages using his power and has a bloodthirsty impulse to kill, and needs to do so in order to feel in control. Not only does his physical and mental state continue to deteriorate but the random exothermic reactions he exhibits and explosions he unintentionally causes get worse and bigger every time too, again varying in size and very random as they increase slightly or greatly the next time they occur. His continued mental deterioration makes him schizophrenic as he also hallucinates, has all these general delusions about the world and his family as well as delusions of grandeur including himself. These delusions and hallucinations exacerbate things further as they make him more dangerous, volatile, aggressive and even more of a killer. They add to the chaos and make his thoughts, feelings and actions more uncontrollable as they exacerbate his instability and ferocity 

The decay gets worse to the point where it ends in his own demise. But not before he makes a final sacrifice and show of his former self before he learned the truth in order to save millions from what would happen next.



Phew, longer than I anticipated but even then there's more to it I haven't explained and will get to once I write his full bio. But his erratic and random behaviour changes from age to age, from different stages of his life and there is a "higher purpose" reason for his experimental background but there is an ulterior motive behind it to suit the selfish need and want of the one who hired the team of scientists in the first place, for reasons that are malevolent and not benevolent like the scientists thought.
