Belphegor

Anyways, Belphegor is really apathetic of....well almost anything really. He is lazy at times, careless and can get easily bored. He wasn't always like this though. He actually opposed the Socordians' (Belphegor's anthropomorphic sloth-like species) way of life. The Socordians were too lazy, too careless, too slow, apathetic and total sloths. This created problems for the Socordians but due to their apathy, they didn't bother to resolve them. Belphegor wanted them to become vigorous, diligent, careful and wary of things so many of their dangers and problems could be averted and they could live their lives to the fullest without wasting it away by being lazy. He even tried doing things the Socordian's weren't willing to do, like save helpless Socordian's being robbed who were too lazy to save or help themselves, accelerating construction projects himself through diligent hard work because the Socordian builders took way too long (years) to build buildings (even small ones), or even doing day-to-day tasks and jobs for fellow Socordians because they were too lazy to or didn't bother. He did all this to demonstrate the potential Socordians could reach if they tried. He hoped to convince and persuade the Socordians with words as well, but to no avail....He then gave up since it was hopeless, and ironically gave in to his natural sloth side. Having not a single care in the world....living a life of laziness and solitary tranquility.
